This job requires excesssive interaction with the product support engineers in Phoenix and end customers. It requires ability to understand the customer issues and troubleshoot and diagnose the issues and also recommend appropriate solutions.
It requires understanding of the FMS system. Along with the technical role during the interactions with customers potential opportunities to be explored.

QUALIFICATION: B.Tech / M.Tech in Aeronautical, Electronics or Computer Science or equivalents

Should have good knowledge about Avionics products and flight deck effects.
Familiar with System Engineering and Product/System Concepts.
Should have a System level knowledge about FMS.
Should know how to work on Desktop simulators (Rhino/Iteg).
Should know about Navigation Database and working on OneNav tool.
Should know about Bite Decoders and Bite Dump Analysis.
Should have Knowledge about various software's used in FMS.
Having concept about hardware of FMS.
Be able to visualize the System & Products in a broader perspective.
Willing to carry out reliability and proactive analysis.
Should have worked on at least 1 Full Life Cycle Project (Preferably FMS).
Should work as Individual Contributor and be able to work independently as a Product Support Engineer.
Good communication, interpersonal, customer handling, Problem Solving and Analytical skills.
Work effectively with internal and external teams on Customer Issues.
Ensure tasks are delivered on time and meet financial, performance, quality and reliability goals.
Application of sound business judgment on complex business and technical issues.
Should Lead and coordinate tasks with Marketing, Sales, warranty & Law, Operations, ISC, Engineering, and Quality on need basis.

Should be willing to Travel to Customer locations.
